Ok, I lied. I want to point out that my friends Jason Dunn is part of their blog team. I am sure you know that name! He’s the guy behind Pocket PC Thoughts, which is now Windows Phone Thoughts. Kudos to HTC and Jason for launching.

Good morning, it’s Black Friday and instead of heading out for sales, I’m heading out to work.

I have used the iPhone WordPress app before to check out comments, but as far as I can remember, I’ve never posted with the app. I wanted to test it out this morning. I might start blogging a little on the run and knowing how simple this will be will help make that choice. So far so good. There is definitely a lack of features, but that is to be expected. I’ll definitely need to edit on a PC later.

Since social media has taken over the web, many personal blogs are rendered useless. Many that have their own blog seem to have let them go. it’s too easy just to post something on Twitter or Facebook now and personal blogs get ignored. I know this all too well as I have also fallen victim to this trend. I don’t want to let the usefulness of a personal blog die, so I am going to try to use mine more.

In order to make that work, I decided to bring all the social media aspects I use to the blog. I have tons of info being streamed into here now. In addition, I decided to drop the cheesy (even though it’s true) tagline that I have cherished… “Incoherent Ramblings of a Redneck Tech Geek”.

Lastly, I have updated the look of the blog to share the looks of some sites you might have seen before. Hehe… I like it now. It’s comfy and familiar.
