Before anyone reads any of my praise or complaints about sports, here are some things you should know…
- I am the original, but former owner of SECTalk.com.
- I am a fan of all University of Alabama sports.
- I am an Atlanta Braves Fan.
- I am an Atlanta Falcons Fan.
- I am an Atlanta Hawks Fan.
- I do not like Hockey at all.
- I played baseball as a kid and softball most of my adult life.
- I quit football in High School.
- I like bowling.
- I am overweight and don’t get as much exercise as I should now.
- My 2nd favorite pro teams are whatever teams have Alabama players on them.
- I don’t like overbearing parents forcing their kids into sports.
- I don’t like Paul Finebaum.
- I don’t like many of my fellow University of Alabama fans.
- I don’t think we should allow athletes to be our kids role models.
- My son played Little League Baseball by his own choice.
All this said, I love sports in general, but there is too much is wrong with “professional” sports today.
