Sometimes they work great, sometimes they don't. For instance, the 3rd party apps for XM Radio work, but they don't give you access to every channel like the "Official" App on Android does. If you read Nick's post, he also mentions that he knows there are 3rd party solutions, but the point is that these companies need to step up. I wish I were a developer, there is so much money to be made filling holes until jackass companies recognize Windows Phone as a solid platform. After getting passed around from department to department and just getting more pissed I gave up. Now after reading these comments I guess I can say "thank you Direct TV" I am filing a complaint with the BBB and contacting Sam's Club  since it was their promotion.
