HTC Windows Phone 7 Phone in the wild…

Engadget tipsters sent in this yummy photo:

It’s nothing much, but it does show Windows Phone 7 running on a mystery HTC Device. Also noted by the tipster is lack of the custom HTC UI, Sense.

In other Windows Phone 7 news, HP doesn’t appear to be interested in doing Windows Phone 7. They only plan to use their own OS now that they have Palm’s WebOS.

After confirming that no Windows 7 tablets from HP will be aimed at the consumer market, Mr. Bradley went on an interview with CNBC, and told them that his company now had no intensions making HP mobiles with Windows Phone 7 or Android. Instead, he went on, they’d be concentrating on webOS (recently acquired when HP took over Palm) as their mobile platform.

This makes sense, but it will sure be funny seeing an iPAQ without Windows Mobile.
