I am getting sick of f;ing pop up ads on reputable sites. I don’t want to eliminate ads since I know the need for them on sites to pay the bills. (that’s why I don’t block them and you shouldn’t either)
Anyhow, not only are big sites doing this crap, now little sites too. I’m not going to call out names, but some of the sites i’ve admired have them now and it’s enough where I am not going to be sending my visitors to them nor will I visit them myself. Damn… enough is enough. Hell, the don’t even pay that well.
I’d rather visit one of those blogs that have more ads than content really. At least they are unintrusive… they look like Vegas, but you can ignore the neon lights.
I know, someone out there is saying… “but Chris, you have ads…” – Yep… I do, but not that many really. My sidebars are filled with links and content as well as ads. Oh well.
Sorry for the rant… I just visited a site I used to love and a freaking garbage traffic pop up invaded my PC.
