CES Day 4 – Gambling Report

So, they have this saying along the lines of what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. You know as well as I do, that this is not true at all. Before others get home and tell everyone all the cool stuff that happened in Vegas, I decided I should give a disclosure (Since so many truely care) about my winnings in Vegas.

I don’t consider myself a “High Roller”, but I do enjoy gambling. I play Roulette, Texas Holdem ( a new table game that plays much differently that the “real” game, but similar in concept ), and occasionally some slots. On the way to my room each evening, I have stopped by in either Ceasar’s or Harrah’s and did some gambling.

The 1st day I started off losing a little. The 2nd night, I didn’t gamble much at all, just a little slot action, 30 minutes tops. The 3rd night, I hit Ceasar’s Palace up for around $1400. Last but not least, Last night… early AM after the Zune Party, I walked away from a Harrah’s Texas Holdem table with 2 Purple Chips ($1000). I hit a shot machine talking to a guy I ran a $20 Bill up to this $600 voucher in the photo above.

So, I disclose that in addition to some great hands on time with some devices, some great parties and food, and meeting some really good people, I was able to enjoy gambling while making a little money. I probaly won’t have much time to lose some of it back today, but we’ll see. Today is going to be pretty non-stop.
