Ok, last day of work, then almost 2 weeks of vacation. The Vacation starts of in beautiful Las Vegas!!!!
There are many things to do in Vegas, and one of them is gamble. I guarantee i’ll be doing a little of that! Another is CES. CES is a great, oversized consumer electronics trade show that draws millions of vendors, companies, buyers, IT Professionals, you name it… if they are in the consumer electronics business, they are at CES.
CES is a great place to learn about many new products and services, you can try them 1st hand, play, etc. You can read all about all the new gadgets via press releases (which have started up HOT and HEAVY in the last 2 days) as well. It’s not the same to read about it as it is to get your hands on the goods. Jack and I will be at CES doing just that. Having fun while looking at some of the newest and coolest gadgets out.
It’s not all about the toys though, one of the most important parts of CES in my experiece (or any trade show for that matter) is the solialization. The networking, the meetups, the introductions, the dinners with loyal advertisers, parties, etc…. This makes the trip much more enjoyable. I can’t wait to see all my friends and meet some new ones this week.
