One of the blogs I read is Blog Maverick, this the blog of one of my favorite people, Mark Cuban. Mark is outspoken, Mark is real, and Mark has done something I could only dream of… Buying a Sports Franchise! I don’t think I would want this now, but growing up, it was all I wanted! (or to play on one of the teams)
Mark recently chimed in on the NBA suspensions and fines dished out as a result of the Nuggets/Knicks brawl.
“The responsibility of the culture of a team and organization, of any business, starts with the owner and is implemented by the team’s President, GM and Coach or whoever is in the position to manage the workforce”
I agree with his points 100%. I think the suspensions were too easy though. Sure, Carmelo sitting out 15 games will be rough, but… On the street, he’d be in jail. Good job Stern, for the most part!
