Last year I finished 148 out of 1799 in the 2005 World Championship of Online Poker. The $1000 buy in was won in a qualifier tournament and I ended up turning it into $1452 in cash winnings.
This year’s WCOOP is around the corner and I am planning trying to get furthur in the tournament this year. So far I have one four qualifiers to different events. I plan on playing in the 7 card stud, Omaha, and No Limit Holdem events.
Last night, I was on fire winning another seat worth $475. I got anything I wanted dealt to me. I call a $10,000 chip all in with QJ of diamonds and I caught 9K10 of diamonds on the flop, making myself a nice strait flush. Coming to the final table, I had $85,000 chips. The second place in chip count had just over $30,000, so it was easy to make some gutsy calls.
